Former Autonomy CEO, Mike Lynch and his daughter, Hannah, were reported to have untimely passed away due to a tragic yacht accident. The bodies were recovered from the wreckage of the yacht, Bayesian, by Italian divers. The unfortunate incident has sent shockwaves through the tech industry worldwide and marking a significant loss in the programming community.

Final Voyage Off Sicily Coast

The yacht, Bayesian, capsized near the port of Porticello, off the Italian island of Sicily. Their bodies were found in one of the sunken vessel's cabins, almost a half-mile off the coast. The tech tycoon and his daughter were among the seven people reported missing from the yacht containing 22 people – 12 passengers and a 10-member crew.
