The Technology Behind X-energy's Reactors
X-energy's reactors are designed to utilize high-temperature, gas-cooled technology with advanced TRISO fuel pellets. This technology aims to enhance safety by reducing risks associated with traditional nuclear reactors. TRISO fuel, known for its robustness under high temperatures and resistance to meltdown, is a key component in these next-generation reactors.
